SLOTH SOLO JIU-JITSU
Build Pressure Without a Partner
No partner? No problem.
I’m Guillaume “Gile” Huni, a 3rd-degree BJJ black belt with more than 25 years on the mats.
Over the years, I’ve developed Sloth Jiu-Jitsu—a game built around efficiency, pressure, connection and conserving energy rather than relying on speed and explosiveness. On top, I apply the same philosophy through my Crocodile Pressure Passing system.
Sloth Solo Jiu-Jitsu shows you how I drill these systems without a training partner, using a heavy bag, wrestling throwing dummy or grappling dummy.
WHY SOLO DRILLING?
A partner probably won’t let you repeat the same movement hundreds of times.
A dummy will.
Solo drilling allows you to:
- Build hundreds of repetitions
- Work equally on both sides
- Develop your weaker side
- Build isometric squeezing strength
- Improve pressure and connection
- Make movements automatic
- Get extra training whenever you want
Sometimes I’ll spend 20–30 minutes before rolling simply flowing through my game:
Guard → Sweep → Crocodile Pass → Side Control → Mount → Reset.
The objective isn’t speed. It’s pressure, sensitivity and repetition.
Do the movements enough times and when the same positions appear during live rolling, your body already knows where to go.

Full Sloth Solo Flow
Connect everything together and drill your entire game continuously.
You still need live rolling to develop Jiu-Jitsu—but you don’t need a partner for every repetition.
Train your weak side. Build your squeeze. Develop your pressure.
Repeat until your Jiu-Jitsu becomes automatic.
